Process Flow Steps

 

The truck entering the facility stops by the weighing station where the operator observes the contents of the load by a camera, takes a picture and records through a software the weight of the incoming material, the type, the source of the material and other relevant details.


The truck thereafter arrives at the tipping floor where all Construction and Demolition material is deposited under a covered shelter.

From the tipping floor the material is loaded into the feeding hopper and then transported by a covered conveyor belt to the trommel to screen the fines.

After the trommel the material is processed through an air shifter to remove RDF and then through magnet to remove ferous material.

Finally it enters the sorting cabinet where workers hand-pick the various materials that can be separated. 

The pictures below show the bunkers below the sortng cabinet that collect the sorted material from the cabinet such as wood, plastics etc. At the end of the sorting line one can see the clean aggregates.
